Linda may be looking older these days, but who wouldn't want to spend the extra cash to get a big wet one on the smacker from her. She still looks pretty good in my opinion.
Too bad there is not a Kindergarten Cop special edition for sale. Kindergarten Cop and also Twins have been the most neglected video releases of Arnold's movies IMO.

thx1138, True Lies is the most neglected Arnie film. That film is bare bones x 1000. We need new Arnie/Cameron commentaries, behind-the-scenes, making offs, deleated scenes, tango lessons etc....

Nopers, True Lies is at least THX wide screen, while Twins and Kindergarten Cop are both pan scan non THX bare bones. True Lies is a notch above those. The eventual Blue_ray release should hopefully have supplement material, and I'm crossing my fingers for that.

Well, I would say that I would prefer an upgrade to True Lies before the comedies. While it is widescreen, it is not anamorphic enhanced for widescreen TVs so the detail in the picture is lacking. No doubt Kindergarten Cop should have some funny outtakes with the kids and Arnold though.

Yeah, I would prefer and upgrade to True Lies before the comedies as well, and although it's not anamorphic, it's still wide screen and THX certified, and thats better than what a pan scan release offers in my opinion. Too bad Fox video will not release a better version. You would have thought a better version would be on DVD by now.

True Lies has the most deleted scenes that fans are aware of and we need to see these on a DVD. Tia C told me that those scenes were not scored though by Brad. Still, we need to see these many scenes. That's the DVD I'm most looking forward to. I don't even own True Lies on DVD. If they're not special editions, not worth my money. I can always catch these flicks on cable. Film studios need to make more SE DVDs for guys like me who refuse to buy bare-boned discs. I don't own Twins, Junior, KC (my second most anticipated SE), LAH, and Eraser. Cable will have to do until the fans get what we want.

It blows my mind when Randy says he doesn't own some of those movies. The man has the hugest Arnold collection in the universe (which we're all jealous of), but he won't buy these Arnold DVDs which all must be under $10 now. I can see what you're saying about holding out for special editions, but from the studio's perspective, if the versions that are out aren't selling, that doesn't motivate them to spend money on new editions. Plus, watching pan-and-scan, commercial infused versions on TV just makes me cringe. The only ones I would give you not being worth it are KC and Twins, since those are really no better than the VHS. Junior does have some short featurettes at least and proper audio/video.

I understand Randy's reasoning. The only reason why I even bought the True Lies dvd was because it was in 5.1 digital sound and matted wide screen. Anything less and I would not have gotten it. The THX certification really didn't affect my decision. Twins and Kindergarten Cop aren't even in 5.1 surround. The first Commando DVD was a stereo surround release, and thats all that there was for a long time. I waited till the Directors cut came out to get it. Did you know that Kindergarten Cop is now being shown in HDTV, and in it's theatrical aspect ratio? The only sucky thing is that it's still edited for TV .

That's cool about KCop, what HD channel is it on? I watched a bit of T2 in HD the other night on TNT or something and I have to say the video quality was sharper, but still noisy due to compression, so I still prefer my DVD and eventually Blu-Ray.

I believe it's on Universal HD. I haven't seen in on since sept I believe, but I haven't been looking for it either.
